I’m very interested in the DVR function inside Plex, but I can’t find a specific answer to this question.
So, I have cable in my house, but I want to get rid of those tv boxes from Telenet (part of Liberty Global) and record all my shows in Plex.
Unfortunately due to most providers encrypting their channel you can’t get an awful lot.
SFR you can only capture the radio stations. At least with a Homerun…
Hi,
So this means that with Tv Vlaanderen this is possible to have full DVR-functionality? (schedules, simultaneous recording different channels, etc) (i presume then you need 2 tuner-connections to have simultaneous recordings?

I think this is no longer possible, looking at their website, they also upgraded to CI+
Hi, I plan to run a WD NAS server in the UK for my grandkids to watch on their Apple TV4 in Belgium.
Just looking at the Live TV and DVR options and wondering whether it’s possible to navigate either of those options on the UK based NAS from their Apple TV over there. Many thanks for any advice
Hi, is there any update on using Plex live tv & recording, in combination with Telenet (or other providers)? Maybe possibility to work with https://www.silicondust.com/live-tv/ appliance(s) icw. eg. telenet-smart-card (or plug-in card) for decoding the digital/encrypted channels (so working without the digital box)?
