Can no longer detect plex server

Server Version#: 1.42.
Player Version#:

Welp decided to separate out my anime into their own movie and show libraries today….and well after getting the this file doesn’t exist error got that sorted after some fiddling around. Then on to the remote access issues because after sorting the libraries out my server was no longer able to receive remote connections. After scouring for answers to that and trying all the available connection troubleshooting guides, it was suggested to try and reset my password to force a new session so tried that and now both through the app and direct ip input plex will no longer detect the server at all. At this point i’m ready to just make the switch to jellyfin and not look back the forum navigation is a joke and good luck actually contacting support. How moving a handful of shows and movies to different directories and then assigning those as different libraries has managed to completely brick my server is beyond me.

We are willing to help you but this appears to be your first post. Without more information I have no idea where to start trying to fix your issues

Looks like you received some (very) poor advice.

Resetting your password unclaims the server (removes it from your account).

The first thing you need to do is re-claim the server, so you can access it again.

I do not run Plex in docker, so unsure how that claiming process works. You can use the User Credential Reset utility. See the readme file for instructions on using it in a docker environment.
