Can not exit full screen mode on Plex Windows player for PC

Unable to get out of full screen mode or to move the app to a different screen
Using the windows App on Windows 10 with multiple screens

Anyone have a solution for this ?

Not sure why that is happening. The procedure below will reset Plex for Windows to the default screen position, like when first installed. You can then move it around as desired.

  1. Exit Plex for Windows
  2. Go to %LOCALAPPDATA%\Plex and copy plex.ini to plex.ini.bak .
  3. Edit plex.ini using a text editor and remove everything in the [ui] section.
  4. Relaunch Plex for Windows

This was the content of the UI section in the BACKUP FILE

I have followed the instruction and deleted the CONTENT of the UI section then restarted the Plex Media Player. with the same results.
When looking at the .ini file after closing Plex Media Player the UI section is still empty

So essentially no change. The Plex Madia Player is still prisoner of screen no 3 and cannot be minimised or moved on a different screen.

Have you tried F11 or Alt+Enter?

Either should toggle the app in/out of full screen mode.
