Can pass https://plex.tv/web to login the Remote Server with personal domain?

Server Version#: Version 1.24.5.5173
Player Version#: Chrome 96.0.4664.45

I had been set up my own domain and SSL cert for the Plex Server. But when I use 'https://mydomain:32400/web" to login at Chrome, it will relay to “https://app.plex.tv/auth” to ask me to login from my Plex Account ! Can I disable this to login to my Plex Server directly ? thanks !

You cannot. Nor should you.

Yes, I also want to set up my plex server on a Linux server this way, say by visiting https://my.domain.tld/web and enjoy videos.

I tried several times, and found this topic here: Add custom ssl certs, now available for everyone. How to? , but it may not be the better solution( actually, I didn’t make it. ). Is that possible that we resort to reverse proxy, for example by Apache or Nginx?

Even a reverse proxy won’t switch off the need to authenticate against plex.tv
Plex is built around plex.tv.
Plex needs internet connectivity (most of the time).

Nothing will change that, be it clever routing, or VPN, or proxies, or custom security certificates.

Thank you, OttoKerner.
The server (ssl) setup really exhausted me. qBittorrent-nox is somewhat easier regarding reverse proxy and ssl configuring.
