Can PLEX server be downgraded?

Let’s back up to what appears to be a basic HTTPS problem.

You have a Hisense and other TV on your LAN which can no longer connect ?

If this is the problem, there is a simple soluton.

  1. Get the LAN IP address of the TV / device
  2. Settings - Server - Network - Show advanced
  3. Being VERY careful not to add leading or trailing spaces, type in the IP addresses of those devices separated by a comma. It will look something like this when done.

  1. At the top, Change “Required” to “Preferred” (if you have it set to Required).
  2. Save the changes.
  3. Restart the TV / device apps.
