For which ever client you use, you have to set the streaming quality high enough so the trailers won’t try to transcode (as they can’t). If not you will get some type of error message
As I told I use Roku all the time.
Cinema Trailers and extra material was working perfect but 2 weeks ago they stop working.
I haven’t change any setting in Plex media server or Roku because they were working perfect.
Maybe the problem with Roku player is that it haven’t been update since may 25.
for the trailers do you have options selected here?
Yes cinema trailers is selected.
Hi ChuckPA, did you find anything else from the log.
What can be the problem, 2 weeks ago is when the problem begins, everything was working ok.
No I can’t watch trailers from movies I have, extra material and cinema trailers.
I think it’s a streaming problem because everything is working fine except from time to time I am watching a local (in my HD) TV show or a movie and it stop playing (1 second) then it start from the same place it stop without audio (1 or 2 second) and then it start playing ok again.

not sure what that means. are all of those option selected?
Yes they are all selected.
Hi,
I have the same problem.
The transcoded crashes whenever I try to play a trailer.
I have the same issue on roku, Sony opera as Samsung tv apps.
It’s not a setting thing but a server issue.
Can anyone help ?
Cheers
This thread also highlights the issue:- https://forums.plex.tv/discussion/comment/1487628#Comment_1487628
@BigWheel , @OttoKerner said its was a cloud infrastructure issue ??
I had this problem previously and what seemed to be causing it was the system time on the server running PMS was not correct. It would always run 7 to 11 minutes slow. I installed software to update the time constantly and trailers worked again.
Can you check your clock in windows where PMS is running and see if it is actually the current time?
YESSSSSS this was the problem the time was off by 13 minutes, now it’s working.
Thanks MeatChunks for the fix and everybody that try to help.
Have a good day.
Thanks for that one. I’m going to post that in our Wiki and have it added to the Support Articles.
a definite facepalm .

I don’t have any experience with readynas, sorry. Maybe someone else that’s running it was experiencing the same issue and found a solution?
