Cannot play trailers/extras. 'Conversion failed. The transcoder failed to start up'

I just noticed that I can’t play any of the trailers or extras automatically found by Plex. Local trailers and extras still work fine, but not those automatically found. It’s the same for every extra of every movie, and on all the players I tried (browser, iOS, and Apple TV). I also tried to refresh the metadata of a few movies, but it made no difference.

I always get the following error:

Here’s an example of what’s in the logs when I try to play a trailer/extra:

Any ideas? It was working very well not long ago. I just noticed that it stopped working.

Edit:
TV Shows extras seem to be working fine. It looks like the problem is only with the Movies library.

So I’ll wait 48 hours, and if the trailers/extras are working again after a metadata refresh I’ll mark the thread as solved.

Do you have any idea why it’s happening only with movies and not TV shows?

Seems to be fixed for me today after a metadata refresh.
