Hello Plex team,
Right now Discover is sedated imo, and I am wondering if team has plans to unleash it? Let me elaborate a little.
So Discover feature when launched in 2022, it became my favorite feature launched by Plex till date. At that time it was in BETA and I thought in a year or so everything will be polished, while many things got fixed, core issue still lacking imo.
Discover has that Ferrari Engine but it feels like team has tried to fit into a toy car. Imagine this scenarios:
- I want to find all Crime movies on Netflix (I can’t)
- Find top rated movies from year 2016 (partially I can)
- I want to find all animated movies released by Disney (I can’t)
- Find all Thriller stuff starring Nicole Kidman (I can’t)
I can put many more examples but hope you get the idea. Right now Discover feels like curated list, that’s it. You need Comedy? Sure, here is 3 or 4 curated list which contain 30 titles max, good luck!)
Discover doesn’t really help us “discover” things in true sense, it’s sedated. Let me ride Ferrari please.. unleash the beast! 
PS: On positive note, Awards & Actors page are pretty great, so props to everyone who worked on that.
