Trying to get to grips with what ‘Discover’ etc is supposed to do and what it can do. Although I realise it doesn’t restrict what is returned in a search, I have selected the streaming services to which I have access (i.e. either free, licensed or subscribed) - including BBC’s iPlayer.
As a test I searched for the movie ‘Mover over, Darling’ simply because I happen to have recently seen it is available in iPlayer. It is not in my personal library, but IS still available on iPlayer. The search returns…
Nothing relevant.
I am logged in to Plex as the main admin user and have full access to Discover etc. but a search finds NOTHING with that name, or anything close. Um…
Since the main problem with this new feature is that it searches EVERYWHERE, even services to which one is not subscribed, am I wrong to expect it to find a movie that IS available on a service not only listed by Plex, but also specifically selected as one to which I have access?
Perhaps this is a ‘feature’ that I don’t fully understand? ![]()
