Have used Plex for about 3 years and for the most part have really enjoyed it. However, the other day, while tired, I must have messed something up in the settings. I can’t claim my server on my Laptop. It tells me that I’m “not authorized” and any attempt to “add media” gets met with a link to download the media server. Have messaged with Plex and the following is the response I was given. Please help!
“Hello Tom, What you are describing is often due to being signed into the Plex Web client using 1 Plex account, while your Plex Media Sever is signed into a different Plex account. If you post in our support forums, they can help you identify which Plex accounts are involved and to sort this out.”
