Introduction - Six months ago my PC with perfectly fine Plex Media Server, took a crap and had to be replaced with a Shiny new Windows 11 Professional PC. Network Modem and Wi-Fi Router are currently all the same. All movie data was migrated to a different extra-large external USB connected hard drive. I can access the hard drive & my online Plex account OK and have since changed my Plex email and password.
Current Problem – Attempted multiple fresh installations over the last six months and all seem to complete, (Deleting Registry and local app data each time). I follow the posted instructions, however when I choose ‘OPEN PLEX…’ from the Windows tray, I always get the dreaded screen… Any help is appreciated. I have completely exhausted any ideas I might get from these support posts.
