Same. Also, in the settings menu the directional arrows don’t work so settings are completely not usable.

Try Power cycling the Roku and Reset the Cache.

That works for me most of the time.

Seeing it is not a total Fix, I too had to uninstall and re install then power cycle. Not using the remote with standby

I had to uninstall app on Roku. Then system restart and add app back for any playback controls to work.
