Roku Ultra and Fast Forward/Rewind

I’ve searched through the forums and online and don’t see any fix.
I have a Roku Ultra with the latest Plex Apps from the Roku store. I’ve installed the server on a Windows machine and can stream media just fine. However, fast forward / rewind doesn’t work. It just puts me back at the beginning of the video.

I tested the Apple TV version of the app against the same server and can successful fast forward and rewind just fine. So, it is clearly an issue with the Roku app.

Are there any known issues or do we need to provide server logs?

I almost forget that FF\RW on Roku is a function… I always end up using the left and right arrows on the “D-Pad” to skip through using the thumbnails - you can hold it down to scan through too.

I also sometimes forget about hitting Play instead of OK to play titles right from the home screen - you get used to particular buttons sometimes.

But I just tested my Roku Ultra and hitting FF or RW kicks in correctly for me starting at x1 and each additional hit increases that to x2 and then x3 for me.

Edit: I think I recall that Mpeg files can’t do FF\RW on Roku - maybe not the logs but maybe media info or samples of the files for testing might help. https://support.plex.tv/articles/201035968-generating-sample-files-from-media/

Thanks, it seems to have resolved itself. I had to redesign my network a bit so it would be getting faster access / lower latency. Also enabled the thumbnail / chapter feature and let the server sit. So, it is possible that this combo helped.
