Jellyfin does this very nicely using a dropdown menu.
Yes, exactly. I have 4 copies of this movie, three copies of that movie. Very sloppy. So I removed the recommended tag formats and played around with tagging and naming, knowing full well it wouldn’t work, to see if I could get versions to show something other than bitrate. I just started playing with Jellyfin and it does ui very nicely. Buffering issues, though
Plex Docs → Your Media
→ Multiple Editions - Movies
→ Collections
Plex uses Editions for multiple cuts of a movie.
Plex tracks each edition separately with respect to play progress, watched/unwatched, etc.
The movies will be listed separately in the library.
You can use Collections to combine them. There will be one listing in the main library. You select it, then you’ll see all the items in the collection.
