Cannot access Plex library through Sonos Apps

I have been using Plex for some time now and have set up Remote Access to allow me to access my media from outside of the house, so I know that the Remote Access aspect is set up and working. I have recently tried to access the Plex media library through the Sonos App though and am now having problems. The Sonos app will add the Plex service successfully and will even allow me to browse music and playlists - even to the extent that it will pick up new content. However, when I try and play anything from the Sonos app, I get a message stating “Unable to play cannot connect to Plex because the server can’t be found”. I’ve reviewed the Remote Access help and ensured that there is no double NAT issue and that the remote access is set up properly, so am now at a loss as to where to go next in order to get this working…
