the synology DSM update was a disaster and stopped plex working completely!

I then had to install the beta version and re organise my filing system as per the you tube video to get it working.

Not sure what Youtube video you found – just as reference for anybody finding this thread… here’s a link to the verified guide on how to handle the DSM6->7 migration with a Plex Media Server.
