Cannot access QNAP Plex Since resetting password

To all here.

I was able to craft a freestanding, self-configuring utility for LInux-based machines.

This includes all flavors of Linux, Synology DSM 6 & 7, QNAP QTS and QuTS and Netgear ReadyNAS .

I hope it’s easy enough?

  1. Put tar file on server
  2. Stop Plex
  3. SSH into the QNAP
  4. extract tar file
  5. sudo to admin level
  6. Invoke script
  7. Visit plex.tv/claim to get the token (COPY)
  8. PASTE the token in the script’s awaiting hands :smiling_imp:
  9. Hit enter and let it reclaim the server .

( I am writing slowly because I know old folks don’t read fast. Hope this is ok ) :wink:
