Cannot access shared library on all clients

I have a friend who has shared his server with me however the share only appears in the server list on my 3 roku clients and iOS client. My Samsung 2016 smart TV, amazon fire stick and Xbox one clients do not show the server in their list.

All clients are logged in with my account, is there some restriction he may of set to allow only certain clients or could some other settings on the non working clients causing the library not to show.

Did your friend set his server to require a secured connection. Some of these Smart TVs are not able to create a secured connection so they won’t be able to talk to that server. Have your friend change the setting to preferred, and see if that helps.
