When going through the steps to load my music library, it spins, then says “unable to load content”. Often, it also crashes PLEX, requiring a restart. Have read of others with problem, but no resolution. Is there a solution, or am I simply not going to be able to play my music on PLEX?
How much music do you have?
Is your music organised in a folder structure
Music / Artist / Album / Tracks
or is it just one or a few folders with all tracks thrown together?
The latter won’t work with a Premium Music library.

Try to make a folder with just 1 - 3 artists and a handful of albums.
Then let Plex loose on this. Does this work?
You’re kidding! You mean that I have to “organize” my 30000 songs, which is only partly separated into “artist” folders, into individual folders under specific folder names, such as “Album” or “artist”, in order for this system to work? It would take me years to organize it in that way. Why doesn’t PLEX read the metadata with each audio file, and organize it itself?
Try a ‘basic’ music library, not a ‘premium’ one. It may work.
