Ive been trying for 4 days to get all my music on my plex .how can I get them all on at once, all I can see is to put them folder at a time. think theres about 3000 folders. please help if you can befor I pack this plex in
Have you read any of the documentation on how to configure Plex?
Just index the root folder? If all your music is nested in a Music folder, just link that one. Of course it helps if you have a proper naming convention and standardised setup. Hopefully you have your music named correctly including ID3 tags and so forth.
I would suggest using a tool like MP3Tag or the like. Personally I organise all my content into plex friendly naming conventions using Filebot.
It should seriously be a 1 minute job to point Plex at your root music folder.
