Cannot add new recordings to live tv/dvr

Player Version#: N/A

When trying to schedule a recording in Live TV/DVR i get a pop up with an “There was an unexpected error” message. Also scheduled recordings dont show up even though there is an episode within the next 7 days. This has only started happening since the latest update.

No-one else having this issue? Has anyone tried adding a new scheduled recording? @elan

I tried deleting and recreating the DVR but still the same. Also found that my favourites whilst still there were no longer selectable as playable channels. Had to delete them and add them again (Channel numbers hadn’t changed)

Temporary fix is to roll back to previous version of Plex Media Server v1.32.5.7349-8f4248874
DVR is now working as expected again since I’ve rolled mine back.

If you look at the changes for the latest version then it all hints that they have done quite a few changes in the DVR part of the app so they probably fixed those issues and created these new but much bigger issues lol

Also affects live-TV playback on Android app, on quite a few channels (playback doesn’t start from the app, but can be started on the same phone/same channel from a browser session).

Rolling back to v1.32.5.7349 fixes things as well.

I think Plex finally identified the issue. It is reported here as well

Hopefully they will fix this issue and the android client playback issue.
