Cannot Change Account - Email Address Taken

I cannot find a support site anywhere… so I guess I’ll just ask here:

I cannot change my email for my Plex cloud. I tried to change it, but when I use the new email it says already taken.

So I tried to login using google (the new address is a gmail account), and it created a whole new account for me. I went in deleted the account, but it still shows as taken.

Can someone from plex please reach out to me and change my email address on my account!

I submitted a form previously, but it clearly says technical help is not going to get a response. If you know a better place to ask for help, feel free to tell me and I’ll repost there.

Well, you did everything right, so far.
You have deleted the account which was connected to your desired email address.
You will have to wait for another 22 days until this email address can be used for another Plex account.

After this time, simply change the email address of your existing plex account.
here: https://app.plex.tv/desktop#!/settings/account
That way you don’t need to sign out/in any of your existing servers or clients.

(And if you had ‘shared servers’, you wouldn’t lose these either.
