Cannot connect to media server

Player Version#:Plex for Vizio 3.13.14
Suddenly about 5 months I started receiving the cannot connect to media on my Vizio smart TV. I had changed nothing on the server or the TV. I have gone through all the troubleshooting steps and still cannot get it to connect. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Judging by the version number, it looks like you probably have one of the Vizio models that is no longer supported. Only SmartCast models are supported currently.

You could try changing the settings AdvancedAllow Insecure Connections and AdvancedPrefer Insecure Connections both to Always as a workaround.

If that doesn’t work or further issues develop, you may want to consider getting an inexpensive Roku or Fire TV device.
