I cannot connect to plex.
After click on plex configure on wd home page > login on plex site > shows page

and spinner doesnt stop.
Will it load the trouble shooting screen? ( Should be towards bottom of left side bar) If it does can you get the logs.
How can I get troubleshooting screen?
oh sorry. I missed that the settings on left were not showing up either.
Can I ask are you at a datacenter or something? 223.0.0.103 is not a regular private IP
its private IP. no problem if I install plex server on my mac computer in the network.

on your mac you are likely on localhost so it is fine but when accessing the NAS on a separate computer it thinks it is a non local IP and i think getting confused because 223.0.0.103 is a public IP reserved by a datacenter in China https://db-ip.com/all/223.0.0

I can’t remember if those WD Homes have SSH built in but you might need to enable SSH and ssh tunnel into it.
I also noticed that connection page is require /media/providers page from 223.0.0.103 and 127.0.0.1, and both returns 401 Unauthorized
I need to open the device to install ssh, and will break the warranty 
If the IP is a problem, i can change my network to 192… Do you think this can solve the issue?
