I have Plex server running on my QNAP. I’ve tried to enable the DLNA, however my Bose speaker cannot see it. I have tested with the DLNA from QNAP and it works. The Plex DLNA is not visible for some reason.
Currently the QNAP DLNA is disabled and Plex DLNA enabled.
Settings → DLNA → Enable the DLNA server
Settings → Network
Enable server support for IPv6 - True
Secure connections - Required
Enable local network discovery (GDM) - True

I think we’ll need to know more about your network. - can you describe how the speaker and the NAS are connected to each other please? Are the speaker and the NAS on the same subnet or are your wifi and LAN on different subnets of your router?
The NAS is connected via LAN to my router. There is a wireless access point, which is connected via LAN to my router. My Bose SoundTouch speaker is connected to the WiFi from the access point.
Both the speaker and the NAS are on the same subnet.
Plex is running on my NAS.
When I enable the default QNAP DLNA server, the speaker can see it. The speaker cannot see the Plex DLNA.
Hmmm, low on further ideas as I can see both servers from my TVs but I don’t have a Bose smart speaker. Have you tried turning the QNAP DNLA off in case the Bose speaker can only recognise one DNLA server on a given IP?
