Cannot download despite buying Plex Pass

I have just bought the Plex Pass - had to buy through Apple as the Plex Website would not let me upgrade due to a free pass that had yet to expire on Apple.

Despite paying the £6.99 monthly subscription I still cannot download anything from my server?

EDIT - I have looked and on Plex it is still showing I only have a watch pass, very annoying as had to pay more through apple as Plex website wouldn’t let me upgrade! How do I force plex to update my subscription status?

I have messaged them but fully expect them to say I need to contact Apple as paid through them

Im on the verge of just cancelling it all and finding an alternative system

A frequent source of trouble is, when you aren’t using the same plex.tv user account (as you do on other platforms) when you bought the Plex Pass.
In preparation for in-depth questions from Plex Pass support, I recommend you to investigate which user accounts you were using on each device/app.

I only have one user account

But you might have different app store accounts.

Why would anyone have two app store accounts? no need to have more than one - But to be clear I have a single apple id login & a single plex account, no duplicates at all.
