I just started a Plex Pass subscription about 30 min ago, but the download option doesn’t show up at all. I’ve updated the app and everything, I tried renooting it. Does anyone what what I should do?
Restart your Plex server.
If you don’t have a Plex server, ask the one who shares his server with you for download rights.
If nobody is sharing his server with you either, you are trying to download the free, advertisement-supported movies and shows. Which cannot be downloaded.
Okay, so I can’t download titles that are streaming on Plex?
Precisely. Only content from personal Plex media servers is supported for downloads.
