I am currently on Version 1.9.7.4460 but am not able to download the latest update. The button is not clickable

You’'ll need to update manually by going here: https://www.plex.tv/downloads/ and installing it manually.

Did you at any time select skip this version ?
If you did then you may have encountered a bug where the check for updates goes wrong
