I cannot get the PMS on the Mac (nor on my NAS drives) to locate any server. I have cleared out all previous installs and checked every option I can find in my router, and still no luck.
I install PMS, I get the icon on the top of the screen, I click “Open Plex…”, the browser screen asks for my log in. Next, it begins searching for a server, which it does for infinity. Considering this page was launched BY the server, I am at a loss why it cannot find itself.
I have VPN off, and just got a new router (previous had this issue, had hoped new would be my salvation). This Mac worked as a server months ago, so I am tearing my hair out trying to find the missing puzzle piece that’ll return it to its functioning glory.
Out of desperation, I even created a new Plex account, to log in completely fresh. That does the same thing.
