"Looking for Server" on Mac, but iPad, iPhone still working

Haven’t had issues in forever… yesterday I simply made a new folder in my Media/Movies folder and moved some old movies into it. Ever since doing that, my Mac will not find PMS and it just says looking for server. I have not changed routers, WiFi settings or anything. I can load Plex on my iPad and iPhone and things are working there. I have everything in my Media folder on my NAS and numerous subfolders (Documentaries, TV Shows, Sports, etc).

I restarted my Synology NAS, restarted my Mac, I’m running the latest version of Plex (1.15.5.994-4610c6e8d). Turned off my VPN. Have signed in and out of Plex. No luck with anything.

I deleted PMS from my NAS and reinstalled. It was version 1.13.4.527-200287a06. No luck. Did a manual install to the latest version again… no luck.

I’m completely baffled at what’s going on. Would appreciate some input on what it might be. I’ve never had this issue. I pasted the debug log below…

Figured it out… did more searching and found a similar issue from last year and Trumpy81 had the answer…

Stop Plex from running on the NAS, then open File Station and navigate to: Plex/Library/Application Support/Plex Media Server and delete plexmediaserver.pid (if it exists) and Preferences.xml .

If you do not see the Plex folder in File Station, then see Q7a on the Synology FAQ’s page, link in my profile.

Restart Plex on the NAS, then type http://Your-NAS-IP-Address:32400/web into your browser and don’t forget to bookmark it.
