The Plex Media Server will not start. I get this following error when I check the status. I have uninstalled and reinstalled but the error persists. Restarted and so forth between reinstallations and after installation to no avail.

Really don’t know where to go from here. Any help would be appreciated.
Rather bad with linux so bear with me. I did the first three steps but then when going to install the deb file per the instruction, I get another issue. Tried it a couple ways but no luck
ryan@ryrobs-pc:~$ sudo dpkg -i Plex-Package-file.deb
dpkg: error: cannot access archive ‘Plex-Package-file.deb’: No such file or directory
ryan@ryrobs-pc:~$ sudo dpkg -i plexmediaserver_1.25.0.5282-2edd3c44d_amd64.deb
dpkg: error: cannot access archive ‘plexmediaserver_1.25.0.5282-2edd3c44d_amd64.deb’: No such file or directory
When you download with your browser, most things end up in the Downloads directory
cd ~/Downloads (get in your Downloads directory) sudo dpkg -i plexmediaserver_1.25.0.5282-2edd3c44d_amd64.deb
I presumed you’d substitute what I type with the actual names.
(as fyi: we’re here to support Plex on Linux but not staffed or equipped to teach linux so a VM to play in and some of the tutorials on the web will be good for you)
