Cannot get rid of the "There was an unexpected error loading this library" error

Server Version#:TOS 4.1.21
Player Version#: Plex Server 1.18.8.2527

I did a TOS update (I guess that was a mistake). Now I cannot get rid of this error which appears on all of my libraries.
I have tried:

  • Removing the libraries and rebuilding them
  • Renaming the databases in TOS
  • Refreshing the Databases
  • Refreshing the metadata
  • Rebooting the TerraMaster server
  • Powering down and powering up the TerraMaster Server.

Perhaps that attached logs will help.

I’m experiencing this problem as well. And the files are in my own Desktop Computer. Is there any solution?

Hey, me too. I have precisely this problem on my F2-221 (from Win10 Dell laptop).

I’m having the same issues on my TNAS. Any help would be appreciated.

I ended up deleting the libraries (not the actual videos, just the libraries), then deleting then renaming the databases so they were offline. I then uninstalled the Plex software from the server and rebooted the server. I reinstalled Plex, rebuilt the libraries and all was good to go.

I just booted up this morning and found that the libraries are all listed properly and working properly. All I did (apart from waiting for a couple of weeks), was add four more small videos off my phone.

I suppose just waiting is under-rated!
