I recently updated my windows server to 1.41.6.9685 and more than half my TV show library cannot be streamed locally or remotely. I cannot even watch the shows on the same PC the media server is installed on. I thought it was a corrupt drive but I can manually watch all the shows on windows media player. It wasn’t till I uninstall and install a media server 2 versions old that everything started working perfectly again. Don’t care to troubleshoot it, just leaving this here for visibility
Without knowing which players and their exact versions and the exact media type (HEVC maybe?) your information isn’t helpful to anyone, least of all the devs.
Guess you didn’t the last part of my post about not caring about troubleshooting this. After spending hours working on this, I figured out the problem was with the media server version. Didn’t matter which player I used, windows or android a didn’t matter if the server was on a Windows 10 or windows 11 pc. The only reason I posted here is because if someone else has the same issue, now they know they can roll back to an older version and try that before spending all day trying to get it to work
