I have a library of mp3 files that play on all my devices if I use a local player and just use nimbus4 NAS as a data store.
They also play fine using Emby server running on the NAS.
However using Plex server on the NAS all mp3 files throw an error about “an error occurred while attempting to play this item”.
There are threads about this but none has ever been responded to by plex as far as I can see.
