Hi Guys, Thought I had an issue just with the iOS and tvOS app but not even my web player will work on my local network.
My Setup is as follows:
WD MyCloud hooked up to the network filled with my media.
Macbook Pro running PMS V 1.7.1.3856
I cannot play anything using PMS. In the Web player I receive this error:
And in the iOS App version I receive this:
I can view the files perfectly fine using Finder. Any suggestions would be welcome! Never had any problems like this before.
Going to need server logs to diagnose what’s going on. As a guess it looks like Plex can’t find where the media is located.

@tomwebber is your WD MyCloud going in sleep mode ?, maybe if does go in sleep mode does not came back …, also have you try giving access to someone to see if they have same problem ?
@Seven_ I’ve just disabled this and made sure it’s permanently mounted to my server mac. Still not working.
Still getting these issues every item gives me the errors in my original post?
Some items are now playing and other aren’t after updating to the latest release. Any suggestions?
