When I first started using Plex I accidentally purchased the app upgrade on iOS (I didn’t read correctly, I had wanted the subscription). So I got a refund and got the Plex Pass subscription instead. I can no longer afford the subscription and wanted to buy the app upgrade to be able to download to my iPad. The option doesn’t exist though. I only get the „restore purchase“ option but of course that doesn’t work, it just says that no previous purchases have been found.
Just purchasing the app activation for only the app itself will not allow sync/download, it only removes the one minute time limit on playback from a Plex Media Server. only an active subscription will allow you to sync/download from your Plex Media Server.
it not offering you the option to purchase activation is odd. Are you using the same AppleID you purchased the app with originally? If you still want to knowing what i said above have you tried reinstalling the app?
