Cannot remove old shared server

Hi folks,

I have an old server, which was once shared by someone else, in my server list in the left hand pane. That server no longer exists. It is not pining for the fjords - it is dead. It is an ex server. It just sits there, like a zombie, saying ‘currently unavailable’. It’s currently unavailable because it no longer exists.

It does not appear under devices at https://app.plex.tv/desktop#!/settings/devices/pms - so I cannot remove it from there.

NB: It ceased to exist before I built my current server - so I have a sneaking suspicion that it is hanging around somewhere in some metadata attached to my Plex account.

It appears in web clients, Apple TV, etc., and cannot be removed from any of these locations.

How on Earth are we supposed to remove these zombie servers?

There was a bug yesterday which “zombified” old servers.

Ah, just coincidence that I noticed it yesterday then. Fair enough - thanks again.

So you just had to wait to the cart and for Plex to say “Bring out your dead”…
