Zombified Old Server Stuck on my account

Hi,

I have recently been increasing my use of Plex, but have one problem. A server which a friend shared with me a long time ago, and has since been shut down, permanently shows up in my list of servers in the sidebar and is forever unable to connect.

It doesn’t show up under authorised devices in settings so I can’t remove it from there. Sometimes it shows up in the server dropdown in settings, but usually its not there, and when it is there it offers no “three dot menu” with which to delete it. I have seen a few similar threads in the past where plex staff have had to work some magic in the background to remove it for people having similar problems, but these were all from quite a while ago

Any help appreciated

Look for your friend’s user name here https://app.plex.tv/desktop#!/settings/users-sharing
Click on it,
“Shared with you” - Edit
“Leave Server”

Wow, cheers. Didn’t think it would be that simple. Spent a good half hour trying to sort this myself.
