Cannot see Chromecast devices after update to 2025.14.0 mobile App on Android

Player Version#: 2025.14.0

Previously had been able to cast to my chromecast without issue, but once the app updated to the latest version I just get “no devices found” when I attempt to cast.

I can however cast from plex via browser on my mobile device so the issue is specific to the app.

Have tried uninstalling the app and re-installing, but this did not work. Cleared app cache. Rebooted chromecast.

Tried enabling DLNA. Made sure my server has valid SSL in case it was a security issue. Nothing helps.

Mobile is a Pixel 7 Pro.

Has anyone else come across this issue and/or knows the fix?

<If providing server logs please do NOT turn on verbose logging, only debug logging should be enabled>

I have the same issue. Tried what you have done already. Doesn’t seem to have affected all users so I’m at a loss. Having to stream through server at the moment.

I rolled back to the previous version of the mobile app and disabled updates. Previous version works fine. There was someone in another thread that posted a link to the APK. I’ll repost here when I get a chance.

I’ve ended up doing the same. Works fine on the older version of the app.
