I just purchased Plex Pass. When I go to to the player at plex.tv I see the new Movies & TV option. When I open up the Desktop app I do not see it. I have tried logging out and back in and it even shows that I have the Plex Pass. How can I get it show up?
It only works on the hardware streamers like Roku, Firestick etc and the web player.
No luck with PMP yet. I don’t know about the “new” Plex player.

Didn’t you guys say that you’d be removing the web player by January 2020?
No, we were going to get rid of the Plex Media Player HTPC app, but changed our minds after user feedback. Nothing was ever changing about the web player in browser that I am aware of.
Aaah, thanks. I totally misunderstood originally. Well hopefully we’ll get the functionality in the Windows app soon as I find the experience to be smoother than the web.
