Cannot select a video on LG TV, the OK button stopped working

Running the official Plex app from the LG Content Store on my LG TV with WebOS the OK button on the remote stopped working today. I cannot select any video to play.

The OK button works fine in the TV UI, in other apps it even works in the Plex app for everything else, I can use it to go to Settings for example, flip some switches, it just does nothing if I select a video and press it. I can mash the OK button like crazy and I still cannot play a single video.

Reinstalling the Plex app did not help, rebooting the TV did not help.
