Player Version#:Don’t Know
Just turned on the LG 75 to watch an evening of plex and everything that I select says it has a playback error and it can not continue. Screen says OK and back to the listing of show and movies. Everyone I try, same error. Plex player started just like normal and everything looks the same but nothing works. Unplugged TV and restarted, same problem. Wife used the Samsung curve in the other room this afternoon and everything worked fine. Just the LG. Neat, need to buy two or three more of these TVs. Any ideas?

Same issue here. Plex won’t play any content on 2x LG TV’s.
Same for me. It’s dead in the water. I can’t even get into the app settings to try to reset. Total BS.
On the latest web os with latest plex player update. Same issue here even after changing Insecure connections to Always and Server config to preferred
Neat update last night, apparently. How many days before we get another update to fix this? I went into the media player that’s part of the TV software and accessed the plex service there and you just have to find every individual episode you want to watch and they watch just fine, just not in plex. Let me know if you need more info…

Came here to see if anyone else was broke. Yep mine too. No LG TVs in my house working. Come on Plex don’t ya’all test these things first?
Same issue here. I’ve been messing with this for an hour. uninstalled and reinstalled app on LG tv with no change. Plex playback works on all my other devices. hopefully a new app update will come out very soon, Until then I guess I will use a device connected to my tv to watch Plex such as pc or firestick.
Same here, LG webos player reports playback error.
iPad player works normally.
Exactly the same here, start plex on by LG, just get a blank screen and nothing else on all 3 TVs

LG app updated and now I can’t play anything. Also I updated by synology which is hosting plex, still unable to play anything. Also can’t access settings
2 LG TV’s, both don’t work. Can’t click on any libraries and playback errors.

Same here. LG OS app worked fine last night, but I can’t play any content and can’t open the settings today. As a hacky workaround for now, I’m able to use the Plex web app via the TV’s web browser, but it would be great if the LG OS app were fixed ASAP…

This has been happening to me. Worse yet, today I launch the app and it goes from splash screen to black screen. No more content. What gives?
This is happening to me now!!!. on LG Web Os, Samsung TV, It seems a general problem. is there anyone who has found how to resolve this?!.
You can watch shows and movies on your plex server with a non working LG by following these steps:
Press the HOUSE button
Go to the left end of the bar and select the Home
Go to the Plex Media server that should be listed
Manually select what you want to watch, just have to find it in the file structure and each episode individually.
Should play even better than thru plex… Does for me.
