Cannot set up new Linux PMS

Server Version#: 1.26.0.5715

I just built a new PMS host to replace the server currently running on my shield after the disastrous upgrade recently with the Shield software. I have Debian 11 installed and configured, got plex media server downloaded and installed, when I go to http://server-ip:32400/web I can log in… and then it takes me to the Plex client configuration… It never gives me the option to set up my newly running server instance, all it will let me do is access my existing server and a couple servers that are shared with me.

Am I missing something? I want to configure this new server so I can decommission the server running on my Shield, I don’t want to set this up as a client only.

Both server and workstation needs to be on the same IP net, as well as in private address space

If not, look here:

Thanks, moving the server from my server subnet to the same subnet as my client did allow me to finish setup. Its probably not very common for someone to have multiple subnets, but this seems like a silly limitation, when I’m connecting directly to the server it should be able to set that server up
