Cannot switch audio on LG plex app

I have a synology DS218 and since I installed the latest plex update on my LG G1 TV I cannot switch audio tracks on certain films. The only audio I get is descriptive audio ,regardless of which source I select on the TV.

I even re ripped one of my blu rays and re installed it into the NAS but this made no difference and the problem remains.

Is there a fix or another update coming to resolve this

I have the exact same problem, plex on my tv (vizio V505-J09) just won’t play dts-hd ma7.1 and dolby truehd,everything was fine before my tv’s firmware update.

I can confirm the same issue when playing back on my LG C2. Audio is fine playing back in browser, mobile app, and on Chromecast with Google TV.
