How to change audio track?

Hello
I am using Plex media server connected to my old LG TV.
My TV doesn’t allow to switch audio tracks. Hence, when movies have more than one track I have to use only default one.
My question: could I change audio track in Plex settings in order to force TV to use this track?

Are you using a Plex app on the LG TV or are you accessing the Plex media Server via DLNA?
I don’t think you can force anything from server side when DLNA is involved… that’s more or less just exposing media files and the handling is entirely up to the DLNA app.

If your TV cannot handle regular apps, you might want to consider some streaming stick/box.

Well … I don’t have enough knowledge about things that you mentioned…but I will describe y workflow: I have Synology NAS where I store files. This device has Plex app.Not if it’s server or client. Next … I have TV and Chromecast with Google TV. I have Plex app installed on Chromecast as well. When I want to watch a movie I navigate to Chromecast and start Plex.
Well my assumption is that Chromecast Plex is client and NAS is server. Sorry if I was wrong

Chromecast with Google TV can run the regular Plex app for Android TV. And that one does have a way to switch the audio track. Make sure that you have it installed via the Google Play store icon.

There are two ways to select another audio track:

  1. during playback, press 1x on the OK button. The player bar opens at the bottom, with the Pause button highlighted. Move the focus 2x to the left, over the speaker icon. Press OK, then select another audio track.
  2. Enter the so-called “preplay screen” of a movie or episode. (usually by pressing OK on its poster)
    Now move the focus to the right, on “…More”. Press OK, Playback settings, Select audio track

Thanks so much for help. I was able switch audio tracks as you recommended. I am all set now with audio. Btw: Plex on Chromecast opened me completely different layout that I had before and I am impressed by it.
The only issue left for me is that current layout is cluttered and the number of options is too much for me. I want to simplify layout. Actually what I want is only two options: movies and Live TV
Currently in order to get to it I have to navigate to home, then to More and only on this screen I could select Movies and Live TV.
How could I simplify it?

Pin the media sources you want to the side bar, and remove all the rest from it.
