Tuner Make/Model: Hauppauge for Xbox One
Guide/Lineup name:
Using XMLTV?:
Channel number/Name: 7.1 (ABC Bay Area)
Plex refuses to tune Live TV on Desktop and Chromecast with Google TV clients (it usually works on Android). It’s just the primary AC3 5.1 english audio that won’t play on any channel, the web player just spins and the Google TV player throws an error about not being able to tune. Signal strength is 70%.
I’m pretty sure it’s a transcoder problem because: (a) alternate audio tracks (AC3 mono Spanish) play fine, (b) the tuner logs look the same between successful/unsuccessful runs, and © scheduled recordings always work fine, it’s just live tuning from certain clients that fails.
The only thing that shows up in the main logs is the following (repeated several times), which I believe to be a red herring based on the other forum posts, and successful tunes also have this error:
Dec 20, 2020 18:21:31.541 [0x7f70d27fc700] WARN - QueryParser: Invalid field 'contentDirectoryID' found, ignoring.
Dec 20, 2020 18:21:32.855 [0x7f70d37fe700] ERROR - [Grabber/7.1-j919jswvsyb443qna52dcyga] Unable to find title for item of type 5
Dec 20, 2020 18:21:35.109 [0x7f70be7fc700] ERROR - [Transcoder] [mpeg2video @ 0xc848c0] Invalid frame dimensions 0x0.
I don’t think the problem is the tuner, the tuner logs don’t have any errors, just this repeated every few seconds, which matches a successful tune:
Dec 20, 2020 18:26:20.109 [0x7f3f49ffb700] INFO - [I] CTSStreamWaiter::ProcessStream. Found first not encrypted packet. Start streaming

Where can I start to troubleshoot this? It sounds similar to Live TV fails with "Error — Unable to find title for item of type 5"
