This past week was the slow death of my Plex server. Interruptions to playing media both local and remotely and auto updates failing. Then extreme latency and degradation to local playing and no remote access. Yesterday I had enough and completely removed everything from registry to deleting the sever and player using uninstall and going into %appdata%local and removing the files that way. Upon re-installing the player and server I was able to recreate my server just fine, but afterwards I could not claim it, nor login to my account on https:plex.tv or www.plex.tv. I’ve completely wiped my browser settings and history but I just keep getting a white box after clicking “sign in” or it taking forever to load the sign in and then “signs me in” but the webpage still says “sign in” if i reclick it it’ll say sign in as “email address” but when I click it goes back to saying sign in / sign up instead of settings / launch… basically im at my wits end at the moment. On and lastly I’ve made sure the clock is set to the right time zone.
Biggest issues:
1: inability to login to the site
2: inability to claim the server
3: once i hit claim server it’ll spin forever (let it spin for at least 2 hours) nothing helps.
