Cannot view NAS photos in Plex

I am using a Synology NAS 9218+. In Plex, I added a library titled “Photos.” When I browse for Media Folder, I choose /volume1/photo where my photos are located on my NAS. However, in Plex, it says under Photos that “There are No events in this library.” Can someone help?
