I have two Windows 10 machines running PMS. Until recently, I was able to access both servers on my Samsung TV. Now what seems like randomly, I can only see one server at a time with no way to switch to the other. I am unable to access the content I want to watch on the other server.
I do seem to be able to access both on my Apple TV. The machines are both on the same network and can see each other on the network. I have tried all the settings I know to resolve. Since it seems to be random, I can’t say what causes the switch.
Check the version of your TV and see if falls into the affected list. If it does, may be time to buy a streaming device for that TV like another Apple TV or new Chromecast or something.
Thanks for the reply. I will check it out. I failed to note that although the one computer PMS shows the other one’s PMS, it says it is unavailable and retry connection does not work. I can transfer files over the network between both computers in Windows. Only PMS fails to connect.
