Can't access library after unplugging my machine

I do realize that this is probably ultimately a Windows issue, but it is directly related to my Plex server, so I’m hopping someone here has ran into the same issue.

Twice now I’ve needed to unplug my Windows machine to move it, and both times when the system is booted back up, it won’t recognize the separate platter hard drive with my Plex library. The first time I blew it off since I hadn’t added anything to it yet, but this time it has about 5GB of music that I had to rip manually and I don’t want to do that again. So here we are.

To clarify, my Plex server is on the main drive (C:) but my library files are on a separate drive (K:)
After moving the computer - checking all cables/wires/connections were good - Windows won’t recognize the plex media drive as being a “formatted” drive. Drives show up, but trying to access one only gives me the option to format it and not access it.

Yep. That is almost assuredly a Windows issue or one with the drive or one with the physical port it is plugged into.

The first thing I would try is a different port and next I would check and be sure that the assigned drive letter does not change on a restart.
